SUMMARY: SARAH, a struggling painter, becomes engaged to JONATHAN, the man of her dreams. But, before she can walk down the aisle, Jonathan dies in a tragic accident. Racked by soul-crushing depression, Sarah signs up for an experimental drug trial. However, the drugs meant to cure her, propel her into another world where she reunites with Jonathan. Doctors prescribe radical new treatments to counteract Sarah's hallucinations. Sarah realizes these treatments are altering her in frightening ways. Terrified for her life, she tries to escape, but her nurse has become her warden.

Themes: In a twist of fate, Sarah and Jonathan are caught between two worlds.

The supernatural elements are a metaphor for real-life issues, including trauma, depression, and grief.

The ethereal world represents the psychological struggle of the protagonist to confront her emotional pain.

Marketability: The cross-over appeals to thriller fans who love emotional complexity and the love story deepens the tension in this supernatural thriller.

“It takes one person to believe in another person’s dream.”
